I am a student teacher. I am about to start my last year in the coming year (2025). I chose to teach isiXhosa as I like it when the next generation knows their native language and as a language of Africa. There are plenty of learners, I helped with writing and speaking IsiXhosa during my practical each year. They improved in the few weeks I spent with them. What happened with them motivated me to find other learners and share what I did with those learners to improve their vocabulary and writing skills.

Those who already know IsiXhosa might be laughing at them when they are writing or speaking Xhosa. The mocking can lead those who are learning to quickly lose confidence.
