I am a native Swahili speaker, and I enjoy teaching people of all backgrounds and ethnicities to speak this beautiful language. Swahili will make you appreciate how easy it is to write and pronounce words in a foreign language. I have several years of teaching Swahili to college students and have seen impressive growth after practicing speaking with my students within a period of less than a month. The easiest way to learn how to speak Swahili is to pronounce the words as they are written and to keep practicing even when it doesn't sound right to your ears. With time it will all flow effortlessly.
