ONLINE LESSONS ONLY - I am a trained Swahili Teacher with over 6 years of teaching experience. I am interested in helping a bigger number of willing people to speak, write, and read in Swahili. I find mastery of different languages to be fascinating and being a native Swahili speaker, I feel it's my duty to make your learning process easy and enjoyable at the same time. Depending on what your goal is for enrolling in Swahili lessons, we might even be done with the basics by the end of 4 weeks!
Whether you need help with the translation of a document from Swahili to English or want to learn basic Swahili words or complex Swahili words for academic purposes, feel free to ask me.

Is it difficult to learn Swahili in Nairobi?
It depends on your willingness to learn and the environment you will be in. If you're interested and willing, it will be a bit easier compared to someone who is not interested at all. About the environment, there are places in Nairobi that use Sheng' and then areas that use "Swahili Sanifu" and if your first interaction will be with Sheng' then it might leave you a little confused.
How much time does it take to learn Swahili in Nairobi?
Again, it depends on the depth and your ability to grasp and learn. Basic Swahili will take you around 4 to 6 weeks depending on your ability to learn.
