Hi! I'm Geraldine from Mexico City. I have taught more than 30 students in one-on-one lessons and in groups, online and in person, from different parts of the world and of different levels.
I am an architect, anthropologist, textile artist, aerialist, and certified Spanish teacher.
I can prepare you to live in Mexico by teaching you the slang to make you feel like a local. I think the best way of learning is by having fun and trusting your tutor.
I like to focus the classes on conversation, but, of course, the grammar is included. 😉

Is it difficult to learn Spanish in Reykjavik?
It could be difficult as the local language is not Spanish, but if you practice, it could get easier.
How much time does it take to learn Spanish in Reykjavik?
I could say that by having classes for 4 hours a week, you will be able to know the basics (like presentation, present tense, and some uses of the "ser" and "estar" verbs) after a month. But you have to be constant and really study. It depends on you.
