Colombian Native Spanish Teacher

😊 ¡Hola!... I am very pleased to be able to share the passion for the Spanish language. In each meeting, I will share with you learning about cultures, interesting places and traditions in countries; gastronomy, education, travel vocabulary, nature, including many examples of talks and real situations, as well as any topic that you like the most.

🏅What will I get? Mainly conversational skills, a lot of vocabulary to communicate assertively, grammar, emphasis on verb tenses, tips to remember popular expressions and sayings, as well as practical writing and listening exercises. Yes, this will all be part of your lessons, while you have fun!

Important: In your free time, you will have some homework to practice. I apply creative teaching strategies, and a methodology based on your progress and main needs.

*Students in training to take the DELE Tests (Cervantes Institute) or other tests, do not hesitate to let me know your current Spanish level or the level of the exam you will apply for, to support you in this process.

✨About my Teacher:
Master in Corporate Communication, Protocol, and Events. Degree in Radio and TV Production and Direction, with more than 16 years of experience as a Journalist in Spanish for national and regional newspapers and television in Colombia as well as a
Consultant specialized in communications, leader in the creation and application of Communication Plans, and formulation of Corporate Social Responsibility Plans.

I had the opportunity to work as director of magazines, voice leader of institutional videos, narrator of chronicles, as well as coordinator and creative editor of content for TV programmes and events.

Certified in pedagogy for children and adolescent literacy, as well as E-Learning.

In Australia: Five years of experience as a Spanish teacher at all levels, specially intermediate and advanced, also trainer of Spanish teachers for schools. I came from Colombia with the desire to make a enriching cultural exchange and one year ago, I formed my family here.

✅Skills for the lessons: High level of knowledge and mastery of creative writing, grammar and syntax of the Spanish language; oral expression, assertive spoken and written communication.

💛💙Hobbies: I am passionate about Latin music, rock and jazz, good documentaries, as well as an interesting narrative and stories in movies or Tv series. I enjoy playing basketball, swimming or simply exercising. I appreciate different cultures. I love to learn about fauna and gardening.
I love to share mi live in family and with friends; I love to dance salsa, sing and play songs with the guitar for fun. For me, it is a pleasure to explore the food of each country and to cook and exchange healthy recipes.
