Hi there,

I’m a Colombian woman living in New Zealand for the past six years. I came here to improve my English skills, so I completely understand the challenges of learning a new language—especially in a place where it’s not the most commonly spoken. That’s why I’d love to help others who are now going through a similar journey with Spanish.

A little more about me: I’m a civil engineer by profession, and during my university years, I used to tutor subjects like soil mechanics and foundation design. That experience taught me how to explain complex topics in a clear and patient way—skills that I now apply when helping others learn Spanish.

Although I’m not a certified Spanish teacher, I’m passionate about languages and communication. I believe the best way to start learning is by listening and speaking, just like children do. We can then gradually build up to grammar once you're comfortable expressing yourself. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel confident and motivated.

I’m currently based in Tauranga and offer in person and online Spanish lessons.
