I have an experience of 2 years as a Russian tutor for English speakers of different levels.
Lessons are taught in English. I use various resources including presentations, and practice books which vary depending on the level and wishes of a student. I also conduct only speaking lessons which include conversations on different topics. I adapt to students' needs when arranging lessons' plan. Russian is easy in the way I teach: step by step, with practical tasks, reviews of past lessons, and repetition of the material.

As Baku is a city where Russian is spread, there are many Russians and Russian speaking people, education is available also in Russian etc, it's not difficult. Because one of the requirements of the fast learning is be encircled by the language.
Is Russian easy to learn?
If to be patient, responsible, motivated, hardworking and use correct materials as well as practice with right people, absolutely not!
