Olá (: I'm Mahanie, a Brazilian Portuguese tutor and language enthusiast.
I currently run online classes for English and Spanish speakers. Portuguese is a beautiful language, but its grammar can be challenging, making the learning process feel exhausting at times. That’s why, in my classes, we’ll explore a variety of topics—from basic language concepts to psychology, philosophy, games, and whatever else piques your interest! We’ll shape the classes together, incorporating movies, books, podcasts, and various resources that will enhance your learning experience.

If you live in Dublin learning Portuguese becomes easy since you are surrounded by Brazilians and can practice anywhere!
How much time does it take to learn Portuguese in Rome?
If you take regular classes (at least 1h30 per week) and you put effort into it I'd say 4 months would give you a considerable knowledge of the language.
