Hello! I’m Jules, a Norwegian tutor based in Melbourne with a passion for helping people achieve their language goals. I speak fluently Norwegian (my mother tongue) and English and dabble a bit with German, Swedish, and Danish.
This journey started when I was a student assistant for bachelor-level classes and thoroughly enjoyed teaching individually. After I while I was constantly teaching my partner my language until we discovered how much the language apps are lacking in good teaching. My lessons are interactive, personalized, and designed to make learning Norwegian enjoyable and accessible. I tailor each session to fit your individual needs, with the inclusion of practical exercises, cultural insights, and fun activities. Since I am a Designer, I can also provide home-class printables.

Is Norwegian easy to learn?
Norwegian involves very simple grammar, unlike German with all the different ways to say green. With Norwegian the hard part is the pronunciation, which the different language apps does not do justice. I will teach you the local way of speaking it. Try it, its fun!
How much time does it take to learn Norwegian in Melbourne?
If you want to speak a couple of sentences, might do one session, or if you want to gradually build confidence I would recommend a weekly/monthly training for an extended period. Everything comes with time.
