Hi, I am Juyoung!
I came to the UK in 2018 and completed my study in BA Social Policy at the University of Birmingham.
I am currently based in Luton and would like to tutor Korean of all ages and levels.
I have a range of experience from teaching a nursery class to writing academic and professional research reports. As such, all ages and levels are welcome in my class which is tailored to suit my students.
For example, upon the student's request, my lessons can focus on the Korean culture that they are interested in (k-pop, k-drama, Korean food, fashion, beauty, etc.), day-to-day conversation, slang, helping with the correct pronunciation, etc.
In addition, I can help go over academic homework and review reports. For the younger-aged classes, I adjust my class to their topic of interest to encourage their enthusiasm. This includes reading books, playing games, drawing, watching videos, singing, etc.
All lessons will be held at a suitable level for my students. I will mainly use Korean in order for students to improve their listening skills, however, if requested, I will also explain any uncertainties in English.
I prefer online students. However, I am happy to do face-to-face classes if you are within the Luton area.
