1. self introduction
Nice to meet you, I am **RIN**. I am a senior at Rikkyo University, Faculty of Literature, currently studying abroad in Dublin. I love learning about the fascinating world of stories and language, and enjoy everything from classic novels to soccer match commentaries. I have been playing soccer for 10 years, visiting cafes, and spending time chatting with friends from abroad is bliss.
2. teaching experience
Volunteer Japanese tutor at international exchange events (conversation practice/preparation for JLPT N3-N2)
Over 100 hours of phone calls as an inside sales intern: learned easy-to-understand pronunciation and listening skills
Created and conducted slide-based grammar mini-courses for university language clubs
2. knowledge gained in the literature department, able to explain idiomatic phrases and cultural background in an easy-to-understand manner through stories
3. appeal to potential students
Lessons are relaxed, like chatting with a friend. I will choose topics based on your interests, such as sports, books, travel, pop culture, etc., and carry on a conversation in Japanese as much as possible. Mistakes are welcome! We will give you detailed feedback on the spot.
Japanese is not easy, but it is a language** that you can certainly improve once you get the hang of it. Pronunciation is simple, but the letters and honorifics take some getting used to. The key is to make it fun!
Depending on the purpose and pace of study, **everyday conversation level (equivalent to JLPT N4 to N3) should take about 6 months to 1 year** (assuming 3 to 5 lessons per week).
If your goal is to learn for travel or simple conversation only, you can learn to speak quite well in 2 to 3 months.
In Dublin, there are many online lessons, language cafes, and private tutors that make it easy to **learn**! **
