My name is Andika and I speak Indonesian and Javanese as my mother tongue, and English at the C1 level. Since I have successfully acquired a high level of proficiency in a foreign language, you will profit from my know-how of learning foreign languages.


I have been an Indonesian language teacher for over eleven years (Since 2014). Currently, I am living in Central Java, Indonesia, and working as an online teacher of Bahasa Indonesia. I was born and raised in Indonesia. I have a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Indonesian language and literature and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. I speak with a neutral Indonesian accent.


I have over 11 years of teaching experience. And currently, I am focusing on Indonesian online teaching. I enjoy teaching, and since 2014 I focus especially on teaching Indonesian to foreign speakers. I also have a Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) teaching certificate which was issued by the Ministry of Education.

During each lesson, I will help you build your speaking confidence and a rich vocabulary ranging from technical terms to fun Indonesian slang. My simple, easily understandable grammar explanations will help you master Indonesian grammar in no time. I always make sure to include content that is most relevant and appealing to you. As a very patient and encouraging tutor, I am always happy to receive suggestions and ideas so that I can take care of your individual progress. I would like to help you reach your goals finally.
