Basic Chinese are easy to learn, characters are easy to identify.as well.
There are two types of written format, Traditional and Simplified, but both have the same pronounciations.
Is Chinese / Mandarin easy to learn?
Yes. Pinyin is mostly used now, because it uses english characters it is easier to pronounce and memorize.
