I have more than ten years of experience teaching children and adults, both in schools and privately.
I have a Bachelor’s in English Language and a post-graduate degree in teaching methodology. I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I speak a little bit of Italian.
I have traveled extensively, lived and taught in Italy and Spain, and I’m quite familiar with different cultures and learning styles.
My lessons are student-oriented, which means that I always tailor the lessons according to my students' needs, learning goals, and interests.
After each class, my students receive extra photocopiable material and notes that I prepare for each specific lesson we do. I use photocopies, flashcards, games, and real-life material (articles, songs, videos, etc.), and I send my students internet links with games and videos that can enhance their learning.
I also provide my students with homework for self-study and correct it outside of class. In this way, a lot of work is done individually and outside of class, so the progress can be very quick.
I like being creative and innovative and using communicative methods.
