给我学习德语 - German Courses for Children and Young Adults

Hello, I am Marie from Berlin, Germany. I have a deep love for my mother tongue and would love to share and practice it with beginners who want to get a first grounding in the German language as well as intermediate and advanced learners who want to deepen their understanding of the language and practice conversation, writing and reading with a native speaker.

To support my teaching, I will be using classic German literature from authors such as Michael Ende or Erich Kästner, who have had an important influence on me growing up in Berlin, and whose fantastic and real literature offers a direct insight into German socialization, and culture and recent history. With the literature of Michael Ende, my course is aimed at young learners, as he is a famous children's author whose literature is enjoyed by all ages. Erich Kästner is perfect for young adults to get an insight of Germany and Berlin of the 80s and 90s.

My experience with teaching comes form teaching at University. For 6 mouths I was the assistant teacher at Free University Berlin in Germany , teaching a group of 7 young adults and organize intersectional projects together in university.

My experience with Children and young adults comes from my Family, as I have small siblings that I needed to care for as the second oldest child. I am Patient and enthusiastic when teaching children, so they can develop enthusiasm and steady motivation in a positive learning environment.

I believe that language is a gateway into culture, society, and history, and I try to impart both linguistic and cultural as well as recent historical knowledge about my hometown Berlin in my classes, if wanted.

As I have Austrian roots, the Viennese dialect can be an additional feature of my course for advanced learners.
