My name is Mimi, short for Miriam. I am 21 years old, born in Austria, and will be living in Muizenberg for a few months.
I love to help wherever I can with the resources I have. German is my mother tongue but I am also fluent in English. Languages have always been easy for me and I want to pass on my skills to motivated beginners.
I want to create a friendly environment for people who struggle with learning something new or a language in specific. I want to make it fun, easy, convenient, and laid-back.

Learning a new language is always a challenge but it’s about how you approach it. The environment is what can make learning more interesting and fun. I am not about filling out sheet after sheet and giving tons of homework, I want to find out about individual ways to teach a language.
What is the easiest way to learn German in Cape Town?
I think learning by doing is still something very resourceful and breaks barriers of fear or self-consciousness. Using the beautiful outdoors to our advantage, making conversation, and thinking up games. Learning is supposed to be fun and fulfilling.
