Fluent Esperanto Speaker With Decades Of Experience

Private Esperanto Tutor in Washington D.C. and Online

Saluton! My name is David. I have been an Esperantist since 1977 and have used Esperanto as a traveler, composer, guest speaker, and World Congress of Esperanto attendee in several countries around the world, from Brazil to Canada to Iceland to Nepal! I'm also a former President of the Esperanto Society of Washington, DC.

Esperanto is super easy to learn (by design), especially if you have a tutor guiding and helping you along. A few hours of practice per week will have you reading, writing, and speaking basic conversational Esperanto in a couple of months or so - or in a few weeks if you're especially adept with languages!

Esperanto is FUN and learning it will give you access to a community of people from all kinds of backgrounds all over the world who are eager to make friends.
