I had the good fortune to study at both Columbia University and the Sorbonne. My passion for literature and language has always been strong, and I strive to share this love with others. As a child, I was a bookworm, and as an adult, I have evolved into a true book dragon. I am excited to inspire students' confidence, foster trust in their own insights, and ignite their passion for reading and writing. Additionally, I aim to help students enhance their communication skills in today’s global landscape, regardless of their goals.
I have over ten years of teaching experience in both international schools and online. My students come from diverse backgrounds all around the world. In addition to teaching English, I have also taught French, literature, authentic movement, piano, gardening, precalculus, Global Perspectives, nonviolent communication (NVC), yoga, and more.
My students have shown remarkable improvement thanks to my holistic teaching approach and my welcoming demeanor, which helps create a comfortable learning environment and removes psychological barriers to education. I have witnessed students improve from a C- to an A within just a few months of tutoring. Some have aced the IGCSE in literature, while others have dramatically raised their scores on the Cambridge Checkpoint exams—from an 11 to a 43, or from a 78 to 100—within a short period of group teaching.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is English easy to learn?
English is more difficult than Indonesian, but it is easier than other common second languages such as French, German, Russian, Arabic or Mandarin. The most difficult aspect of English is the spelling and pronunciation, and I have a tested way to simplify this sometimes complex and frustrating aspect of the language for my students.
How much time does it take to learn English in Seoul?
This depends on your goals. You see, fluency is a different skill than reading and writing. Do you wish to speak for tourism purposes or for business or university? The length of study will hinge on your answer to this question. Some basic competence can be gained if intensively studied for six weeks, but expertise would take several years at least.
