My name is Tanya!
I am originally from Eastern Canada.
My teaching style strikes a balance between fun and interactive, while also making sure work gets done. I put much emphasis on speaking in order to make students feel comfortable. English can be daunting to learn, but it can be easy and interesting! I believe students should feel at ease when learning, so I try my best to be a patient & kind teacher, really focusing on individual students' needs in order to develop and encourage their language abilities, perform better at school, as well as contribute to their overall well-being during lessons.

I have been an English teacher and tutor abroad for almost ten years now, with experience working with a wide range of ages, through different mediums, and from a variety of backgrounds. I have a bachelor's in Language Education, as well as TESOL certification.
