I am Kate. I have been teaching English since June 2020 and November 2022 both online and offline respectively. I've taught students of various nationalities (mostly Asians) and different age brackets. I teach all skills for General ESL, IELTS, Business English, and TOEIC classes, and consistently join IELTS mock tests with an overall average band of 7.5-8.0. In addition, I hold a 120-hour Advanced TESOL certificate and a 60-hour TESOL Specialization: Teaching English to Children certificate. Classes with me are calm and result-oriented, as I always strive to examine the student's preferences and suitability when creating a study plan for them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is English easy to learn?
While I do understand that English is perceived as something hard to learn, I personally think that it is subjective as there are many ways to learn English; thus, knowing the most compatible method of learning for the learner should also be considered to have efficient classes and optimum results. Having a good support system also helps if ever one would face difficulties when learning the language and I am more than willing to be that support system for my students.
Is it difficult to learn English in Cebu City?
Cebu is known to have not only a lot of English natives as tourists but also a lot of locals that are good English speakers which is a great help for the English Language Learners as they can practice the language in real life everywhere in the city.
