Hi there! I'm an English tutor with 16 years of experience helping students feel confident and comfortable using English in real-life situations. I hold a TEFL certificate and an associate’s degree in Foreign Language. I’m originally from the Caribbean and speak both English and Spanish, which gives me a great advantage when working with Spanish-speaking learners.
I specialize in teaching teens and adults, and I love creating fun, interactive lessons that are tailored to your learning style. My goal is to make English easy to understand and enjoyable to learn.
So, is English hard to learn? Not at all—with the right guidance and practice, it can be much easier than you think! The easiest way to learn English is by using it regularly in conversation, listening, reading, and writing—little by little, every day. With consistent practice and support, you’ll be amazed at how quickly you improve.
Every student learns at their own pace, but with dedication, most people can start seeing progress in just a few weeks. I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Let’s make learning English exciting, personal, and effective. I look forward to meeting you in class!

For everyday fluency, many learners reach a comfortable level within 6 months to a year with steady effort. Living in Bogotá gives you a big advantage too—there are more opportunities to hear and use English, whether through music, movies, language exchange meetups, or online resources.
