I am a Marketing Management graduate of De La Salle University. Yet despite of my degree, most of my career experience came from teaching ESL to Koreans and Japanese students.
I have a TEFL certification, a 5-year English tutorial experience, and a Teacher's Certification in University of Santo Tomas.
I am focusing on teaching ESL only from beginner to intermediate level.
I like to adapt with the student's learning style because I believe they learn best with the medium that really interests them.
I prefer one-on-one tutorial as I'd like to really give my full attention to my student's academic progress. I am available for tutoring 2-3x a week. I also provide study guides to supplement the student's learning experience.
I'm available for online and face-to-face classes/tutoring.
Not at all. Interacting with Filipinos will greatly help your Filipino communication skills. There are also good schools or tutors that are knowledgable and skillful enough who are willing to help you in achieving Filipino proficiency.
It depends how dedicated you are learning it. But I'd say, it might take about a year or two to be fluent in Filipino if you dedicate 1-2 hours of studying.
