I hold a Bachelor of Education degree, majoring in Economics, Business Studies, and EMS. I have worked as a tutor and I have teaching experience from 4 different schools, I have also taught outside of my majors teaching isiZulu home language. In my current teaching role I am responsible for over 450 students, teaching this amount of students of different learning levels has allowed me to refine my skills through diverse teaching while maintaining a focused class and productive classroom, and also encouraging collaborative learning to enhance their learning experience. I also do adult teaching later in the day which adds to my all round experience of teaching different age groups. My teaching methods make use of enquiry-based learning which is an approach to learning that encourages an active role from the student rather than learning that relies on the teacher only where learners get to participate, explore, ask questions and share ideas.
With great guidance, patient teacher whose home language is Zulu and has the ability to assist in growing your speaking skills from the foundation up it is very easy. There are so many Zulu speaking people to speak to which makes it more easier to learn through communicating.
it takes a lot of active engagement, and using taught words to build your confidence in speaking.
