I am a qualified teacher from the University of Pretoria, originally from Port Elizabeth. I grew up in a family where both my parents were isiXhosa teachers which led to me learning and perfecting the language from a very young age. I have tutored many different students who have then excelled in their performance at school. Often people assume that isiXhosa is difficult due to the fact that the language has many different clicks but I have found numerous ways to break it down and make it easier for my students.
I am passionate about teaching, art and finding ways to preserve our culture as Africans, through teaching young learners and exposing them to different forms of art.
isiXhosa is a beautiful language and it can seem tricky at first but with practice, it could be very easy to catch on and become fluent in the language.
A few weeks, with lots of practise, is all it takes to become a pro in isiXhosa.
