Long story cut short, studying a second language is too hard to be able to use it daily if we do not enjoy it like eating our favourite foods. My experience about learning a new language is you have to see it through like how your food getting prepared and cooked in front of you so that you will be able to smell, to see, to listen and to copy and then memorise it and use it like a native speaker.
From that experience, I simply take you to the core of how to learn Vietnamese practically and culturally so then you can enjoy the language like a yummy dish.
I'm not a formal qualified Vietnamese teacher but I confidently help you out with this journey by my enthusiasm and experienced skills, and vice versa I would love to learn some of your native accent too.
Communicating with Vietnamese people, watching short videos, going out with Vietnamese friends, etc...
I would say 3 months at least for easy daily communication.
