I have experience in teaching Swahili to a Chinese person.
I love learning languages so it would be fun when someone can learn from me while I also learn from them.
In my opinion, with the right methods, Swahili isn’t as hard. Especially to a person who also knows the English Alphabet because Swahili can be viewed as just an adaptation to it. The letters are the same although pronunciation may vary for some letters. It’s also fun to learn the language as there are really few words one has to know in order to live in Tanzania.
On a scale of 1 to 10. I’d give a 3 to explain the level of swahili difficulty.
I mean it’s not that hard.
One to three days written swahili.
A week to know convesational swahili.
