I have been teaching Spanish to students from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and mental-health conditions. All of them with different motivations and concerns to learn. Not an easy task, as it requires a load of planning work and commitment; some of them like games, others prefer multimedia, learning through songs, or cooking recipes; but what the majority have in common is that they hate grammar! This is when I have learned how to implicitly include my passion for grammar as a transversal content, approaching the language in a natural way, the same as we did when we learned our mother tongue.
My Master’s Degree Project versed in Emotional Intelligence in the Educational Sphere. To pay attention to student’s needs and motivations. By understanding which capacities or competencies are their strong points, I could therefore emphasize them by performing customized sessions in order to achieve outstanding results.
The Spanish Language has become very popular within the last years. The community in the northern countries has grown nearly 70% in the last decade, with a population of 180,000 only in Denmark. Interact with Spanish people cannot be easier. We are an open, warm, and happy culture.
Every language has its own handicaps. "The difficulty of a language is inversely proportional to the strength of motivation to learn it". The Natural Method offers an indirect approach not only to grammar, which is what people most struggle with. But also to the culture. And it is here where resides its strength. The Spanish culture is captivating, addictive and it will make your learning process a piece of cake.
