If you are a music lover and want to learn Spanish, this is a perfect course for you.
I am currently living and studying a master's degree in music performance and pedagogy in the city of Adelaide. In the past 7 years, I have been performing South-American and Spanish music. For this reason, I have had the opportunity to learn about the culture of different Spanish-speaking countries, including my own country: Colombia.
My methodology for teaching Spanish emphasizes on the use of music as a fun and powerful learning tool. As a musician, I highly encourage people to use music to get familiarized with the language and with the Spanish-speaking culture as well. My lessons are designed to be dynamic and interesting, since I believe that any learning process must be enjoyable for it to be meaningful.
Learning Spanish is not hard, as long as there is daily practice. For this reason I like to get to know my students, their preferences and hobbies, in order to design activities to reinforce the use of the language, outside our lessons.
Of course, my lessons will include the use of written material as well, but I like to think of this as a complement, and I like to prioritize practice on top of theory.
If you want to have enjoyable Spanish classes, and share you passion for new music, I highly recommend you to give this course a chance.
The best way to learn Spanish is with the guidance of a native speaker.
Around 6 months, you should be able to have a basic level of Spanish.
