I am 24 years old and I just recently completed my undergraduate degree in Geology with the University of Pretoria. I did Sepedi as my home language in high school and passed it with a distinct. I love the language and I am confident that can get the learners I tutor to also love it. I love learning new things and being in environments that help me grow. I have a passion for helping other people and I value academic success. I would like to help the learners I come across to get better chances of success and to do great in the language I will be tutoring.
Learning Sepedi is easy once you understand most of the idioms used and learn how to read it. The more you read short stories, comprehension passages and novels you start to under the language better and it is very easy to learn the phrases used regularly. Pretoria does have a lot of Sepedi speaking people from Limpopo and since most people speak Setswana, learning Sepedi is not that challenging.
No it is not because Sepedi is not very different from Setswana which is spoken by many people in Pretoria.
