I have been living in Berlin for several years, my wife is German and speaks Russian very well. Every day we communicate in Russian, thanks to this practice, she speaks Russian better than I speak German :)
It was only while living abroad that I realized how much I love my native language and how I lack communication in it. With this understanding, I read Russian books with great pleasure. It is also interesting to learn how one culture exchanged its parts with another.
I'm sure the key to successful language learning is fun and practice.
I would say that learning a language is opening up the whole world. Language is not only a means of communication, but also a culture. Let's try!
Berlin has a huge Russian-speaking community, representatives of which can be found in various fields: from IT to a salesperson in a store.
