I'm a professional actress who's been also teaching English and Russian languages for the past 10 years. Countries I lived and taught in include The United States, Russia, Thailand, and now France.
Through years of working with people of different nationalities and cultures, I've formed a very distinct understanding of how different teaching/tutoring approaches can be used not only for various age groups but for specific end goals, such as an improving conversational level, preparing for exams, etc.
Having an acting background gives me the advantage to easily make lessons fun and interesting.
Russian is not that difficult to learn. My personal opinion is to learn any language you have to have one thing - a DISERE to speak that language. And then just give yourself permission to have fun and enjoy the process along the way!
It is not if you figure out the way that works better for you. We are all different. Meaning every one of us has a different way of perceiving and processing information. Be it visual and/or audio interpretation, repetition, or diving into a conversational language to get rid of a mental blockage based on fear of not speaking properly.
The goal of a tutor is to find the PERFECT approach that works specifically for YOU.
