(ONLINE LESSON) I'm a certified and experienced Portuguese teacher, born and raised in Portugal. I have been teaching European Portuguese in Asia since 2016. Most of my students prepare for the Portuguese exam, levels A1-A2 and the majority of them have so far succeeded! I teach students to communicate in Portuguese in everyday life situations specific to Portugal, required to pass the exam. My teaching materials are recommended by the Portuguese examination center. Most of my classes are now online and my teaching materials are available in digital format.

First of all make sure you are learning Portuguese from Portugal not from Brazil if your intention is to pass the exam or move to Portugal. How difficult it is to learn depends on two factors, your language routes and your commitment.
Is Portuguese easy to learn?
If you know Spanish, Italian, French or English it's easy to learn Portuguese. For example, English has 5 thousand words in common to Portuguese! If you know Spanish you have a head start. You will understand most of what you read in Portuguese and in no time you will be speaking it!
