Hi, I’m Yutaka. I stay in Kraaifontein but can teach any area in Cape Town. I studied Sociology at a Japanese university (Keio university) and have a bachelor degree (BA). I am currently a Master student at Stellenbosch university. I have been tutoring for 4 years and my students love learning Japanese from me. I can organise your own leaning plan according to your ability and goal. If you want to learn "useful" Japanese and be able to use the skill in your real life, please let me know. (I offer online lessons as well.)
The best way to learn any language is using it in your daily life. There is almost no chance to use Japanese in Cape Town. Also, there are less Japanese people here. So, honestly, it is not easy to learn Japanese in Cape Town. That is why you need me who is an experienced native Japanese teacher.
Since you don't use Japanese in your daily life at all, it depends how much time you spend to study Japanese. If you have 2 lessons a week, and spend at least 30 minutes for studying Japanese everyday, you will be able to have general and easy conversation with Japanese people.
