★Face to Face & Online available ★Hi! I’m Kumi. I'm working as a full time Japanese teacher at a language school. I'm qualified with more than 5 years of experience in teaching students with different backgrounds. If you have never learned Japanese, don't worry! My teaching style is pretty relaxed. All level's students are welcome! For beginners, lessons are held in English. Styles of lessons are really flexible depending on your preference. If you are planning to go to Japan, travel conversation classes are also available. Please feel free to ask any questions. I'm looking forward to studying with you!

I started learning Japanese on Duolingo 6 months ago but soon felt I also needed a tutor to listen to, practise speaking with, and to teach me more broadly. I can't believe how lucky I am to have found Kumi. She is a fabulous teacher, and lots of fun as well! I have made huge progress with her in my hour long, weekly, online sessions, and can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you Kumi!!!!

I have been taking Japanese lessons with Kumi for around 6 months now and am loving it. Ive tried to learn in the past but never stuck with it, I think it might be to do with my teacher because since learning from Kumi I've found a new passion and am excited to keep coming back. Kumi makes the lessons fun and easy to follow, also any questions I have she is more than happy to help even outside of our tutor lesson. Kumi does a great job at pacing her lessons so that they are easy to follow while still pushing me to expand my knowledge. She’s also very friendly and often checks if I have any questions or requests, which ensures that I’m able to make the most of the session.

Kumi is a warm person. Whilst unfailingly tailoring to my demands, she displays evident care regarding whether or not I have fully grasped her explanations. I strongly recommend her as a tutor.
