Hello everybody, I'm Mary; I'm a professional English/Georgian teacher with six years of teaching experience; I've been teaching English for two years in the Czech Republic. I started teaching English online to Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Czech students. As for the Georgian language, I have experience conducting classes for Georgian students both online and in-classroom.
I have a bachelor's degree in languages, and now I'm currently enrolled in my master's course at Ilia State University with a major in English Philology. In addition, I've studied online at Cambridge International school (Classroom management & Psychology for teachers), I own TEFL/TEYL certificates, etc.
I love teaching for many reasons, and here are they:
-Teaching is not only about sharing but receiving the knowledge;
-Teaching is the process of becoming a friend to someone;
-Teaching a language doesn't ONLY mean learning grammar, vocabulary, etc., It also means understanding the culture, people, traditions, believes, etc. - and that is wonderful.
-Learning a language is not easy, but it indeed is an exciting process. Learning Georgian or English becomes easier when both teacher and student are willing to share or get knowledge - I always try my best to make the teaching process easy, fun, and engaging - I'm using different kinds of videos, flashcards so that the students do not feel stressed while studying!
Learning a new language is all about becoming a member of a new culture, a new society, so let's get started; I can't wait to meet my future students!
The easiest way to learn Georgian or any other language is to find a great teacher, and here I am ^^
It's never easy to become fluent in another language, BUT if you really want to learn Georgian and have a person who can guide you well, I can assure you that it becomes quite easy!
