I'm a master student at Université de Montréal in environmental studies, I have a bachelor in International studies, but I'm mostly passionate about learning new languages. I'm a French speaker, but I'm also fluent in English and Spanish, and I'm starting to learn Portuguese. I have no qualifications per se to teach languages, but I'm currently teaching English and Spanish to my boyfriend and I did that with some of my friends in French. Also, I used to be an environmental teacher in elementary schools, so I know how to teach generally.
I will not lie, French is not the easiest language in the world, but with a lot of practice you will be able to learn quite rapidly, and in a year or two become fluent.
Stay away of the English speaking neighborhood of Montreal, try to meet people that speak mostly only French
If you want to no. But it's easy to just stay in the English speaking neighborhood and never use what's you're learning out of fear.
