Hello beautiful humans!
I have always loved meeting new people while travelling, and I used to do Couchsurfing to be able to get close to the population of the country I was visiting and learn a bit of their language. I have lived on 3 continents, tried to learn Danish when I was there for 6 months, and I know how difficult it can be. Learning a new language makes you feel like you are 6 years old again, but there is no shame in that!
I feel you, French can be really annoying to learn when your native language is not Latin, but don't worry, we can make it fun! There is no need to have perfect grammar to be understood and have interesting conversations.
Conversations with native people are the best way to learn a language, so congrats on making the first step!
I am looking forward to meeting you.
A très bientôt j'espère!
The easiest way is to talk with people, that is for sure.
French from Montreal is a bit different from french in France, even me I needed an adaptation for a couple of months. I would say for somebody speaking a Latin language like Spanish it would be faster than an anglophone, but really it depends on each individual, there is not rule.
