Bonjour cher(e) etudiant(e)!
My name is Mathilde. I have been living in Singapore for over 5 years. I am specialized in a mix of digital marketing and technology with some teaching background.
I love meeting people and socializing through various activities. French is my native language but I am also fluent in English. I had a great time teaching French via Turoroo a couple of years ago and now that I have more time I'm thrilled to renew the experience.
Learning a language should be a pleasure, not a pain. I'll try and make it fun and entertaining :)
Depending on your level the easiest way to learn french is, first of all, the motivation. You'll learn French easier if you want to not if you have to.
I think having frequent exposure to french language is very helpful: notification of french news on your mobile, watch short videos, and meeting your teacher once a week minimum.
I'm not going to lie, dear student, it's not the easiest thing. But if you enjoy the lessons and have some motivation you'll find the progress very quickly and will be able to have a basic discussion in a few weeks. Some words are very similar to English.
