Hi, I am Jenna and I am a native Philippine citizen. I am very excited to assist you in practicing Filipino. I have TEFL Certificate from BYU Idaho which I just finished recently where I learned techniques in teaching languages to diverse people. I have also experience in learning 3 other languages and I am so excited to share them with you. I am open to suggestions on what would you like to talk about during each session. The easiest way to learn Filipino is to practice with natives every day. Practicing an hour every day for four 4 months is enough to be conversant.
The easiest way is to practice everyday with the natives. When you practice everyday for 30 to 60 minutes, it will help you create a habit. Your ears will be trained recognize and your mouth will get used to pronouncing Filipino words. Practice as much as you can.
Filipino is very easy to learn. Pronunciation is somehow the same with Spanish so it is very easy to learn. Letters are usually pronounced as they are. In everyday conversation, we use Tagalog together with some words in English and Spanish words. If you speak those languages, that will be an advantage.
