I am a Farsi native speaker. I have masters degree in Linguistics with more than 15 years of experience in teaching Farsi and English to adults, teenagers, and kids. During the years of my teaching experience, I have had students from different nationalities and a vast range of interests. The adults are interested in learning Farsi conversation. I teach them basic grammar and we write everything in the phonetic alphabet so they don't need to learn the Farsi alphabet if they just want to learn speaking and listening. Farsi has a rich literature, for the ones who are interested in reading the beautiful Farsi literature and poems, we will practice reading and writing in Farsi as well.
For the kids who can communicate in Farsi, we work on reading and writing and for the kids who have a very basic knowledge of Farsi or don't know even a word in Farsi, we use painting, songs, cartoons, games to make learning Farsi fun.
Farsi Grammar has simple rules. The grammar is quite straightforward and easy to learn and apply.
The pronunciation of some of the sounds like: /kh/ and /gh/ needs practice.
Learning Farsi is like learning any other language. It takes time and effort. If you have time to have 1 or 2 sessions a week and practice just 15 minutes everyday, in less than 6 months you can produce sentences in Farsi not just memorize sentences, and you can communicate in Farsi.
