Hi there! I am Aryan, originally from Tehran, Iran. I used to teach Farsi (Persian) to foreigners when I was in Iran, and now I want to introduce our old and rich culture and history to a broader audience, and learning Farsi is the gate to the thousand years of amazing experiences.
Farsi is originated from the Indo-Iranian branch of Indo-European languages, so it shares the same linguistic roots with English, Spanish, Slavic (like Russian and Czech), Hindu and many other known languages.
First written evidence of Persian (the Old Persian) is from approximately 4000 years ago (Zorastrian religious writings)
Persian and its branches are still widely spoken in many parts of the world (mostly in Asia) and it has almost 180 million first and second language speakers, and also it has affected many other languages and there are many loan words from Persian in other languages from Turkish and Arabic to English.
Together we will learn how to read and write and have simple conversations and we can go further to deep layers of Persian culture.
Yes! Definitely. It is easy because:
1- It doesn't have cases or genders.
2-It doesn't have too many verbs and difficult conjugations.
3-It is based on beauty and softness so it's more like a piece of music than a hard language
Nope! I have appropriate materials for learners and we can go together through their new language experience, and I'm sure it will be remarkable.
