Hello! I am professional English teacher who has taught English for over five years in the United States, Mexico, and Uganda. I have a Master of Teaching degree and have worked with students of all ages and levels, from adults to small children. I have studied Spanish, French, Swahili, and Hebrew, so I know all about what it feels like to learn a new language! I know how fun and challenging it can be. Literature is my passion — I LOVE to read and will read and discuss any book or article with you. I also love to talk about food, culture, travel, news and politics, and philosophy. Together we can easily learn English through conversation, books, videos, and music!
Washington DC is a special city with people from all over the world living and working in one place! There are many opportunities to learn English in Washington DC — you just need to find the right people to help you practice!
In this city, you can join a variety of language exchange groups or activities to meet other English learners and speakers. There are plenty of museums, libraries, and theaters which provide a great chance to learn. You can even learn by going to a restaurant or a park and chatting with the locals
