Hello! My name is Natalia, I hold an MA in Translation and a BA in Foreign Languages. I have 9 years of experience with one-to-one classes and 7 years of experience with the Cambridge English exams.
In 2011 I did an exchange program in Canada in which I received my first teaching certifications.
I can teach from Portuguese, French, and Spanish if needed. My classes are dynamic but detailed, I'm always trying to find the best methods for each student to reach their goals.
2020-MA in Translation and Linguistic Services - University of Porto (English / French / Portuguese).
2016-Cambridge Proficiency in English Certificate (CPE- B2)
2016-BA in Foreign Languages (English / Portuguese)
2013-Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (DELF B2)
2011-TKT-TYL - Teaching Young Learners Program - Greystone College, Vancouver, Canada.
Portuguese pronunciation is easy, as we always read it like it's written (differently from English where you need to learn each word's pronunciation). Portuguese grammar shouldn't be a problem if you have some background with romance languages. But a teacher that knows Linguistics should be able to cover the language structure.
Porto is surrounded by possibilities to practice English everyday, so it's not difficult to practice.
