Hi. My name is Louisa. I’m from Cambridge, England and I am CELTA and TEFL certified.
I originally trained in TEFL in 2010 in Korinthos with Greek students.
I taught English as a Foreign Language in Cambridge from beginner to advanced levels. During this time I taught many different nationalities and ages.
I also worked as a writer (content designer) for the U.K. government on the website GOV.U.K., including working at 10 Downing Street.
I can teach beginners to advanced levels, as well as Business English and conversational English.
The best way to learn English depends entirely on your motivations. What do you want to do with the language? Do you want to pass an exam? Do you want to live in the U.K.? Or do you just want to be able to speak it for tourism work here in Greece? Do you want to be able to read in English?
The easiest way to learn a language is to be motivated to learn and not be afraid to practice with others.
Next, it’s to find a teacher whose style and personality you enjoy.
If you cannot connect with the teacher, you will not enjoy the lessons. If you do not enjoy the lessons, you won’t be motivated to learn. It is that simple.
If you are motivated, and your teacher is focused on helping you to learn, and you enjoy the lessons, then learning English will be easier than you think!
It all depends on your motivations, your willingness to practice, if you enjoy the lessons, and if you connect with your teacher.
