I am originally from Poland, but I grew up in Canada and the United States. I consider English my mother tongue, nevertheless, I can also communicate in Polish and Spanish (and currently, am learning French). Having studied languages all my life, I do understand the importance of conversing, chatting, and using the language on a regular basis. I have experience teaching English in a language cafe in DaNang, Vietnam - my role primarily focussed on engaging in conversations with locals on a wide range of subjects and providing them with practices exercises. Looking forward to chatting with you soon : )
I would say so! I think what it comes down to is regular practice, through conversations and chats.
No - Brussels is a very international city, and you encounter English whenever you step out of your front door!
