My name is Karissa, 23 years of age, from the Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Generalist. I got my professional license as a professional teacher last 2018. I was a full-time preschool teacher in our city for almost a year and presently, I am working as an ESL teacher in a different company for a year already. I love teaching because I can help others improve their skills. It gives me joy and excitement meeting learners in a different country. In my class, I work with wonderful enthusiasm and positivism. I also have the ability to shape lessons according to the needs of each student. After our sessions, you can expect to be confident conversing in English. I’m interested in many different topics, and I’m happy to focus on my learners’ goals. I am looking forward to see you in our class. What are you waiting for? Join my English learning adventures now! :)
If you want to learn how to speak English, learn by listening and not by reading. By listening more, you’ll be able to learn useful vocabulary and grammar without even realizing or memorizing them. Instead of learning dozens of new words in a short time, you should focus on learning one word and repeating it dozens of time. This prevents you from suffering from information overload. In addition, this strategy allows you to place the meaning of words and phrases deeper into your brain. As a result, you won’t forget them easily.
The easiest way to learn English in Seoul is to actively take note of the new vocabulary and its correct meaning when you read something from a book or texts. Also, practice its correct pronunciation to avoid confusions.
