My entire working life has been dedicated to the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English. In 2010, I earned a teaching degree from the University of Oslo, where I learned much about the process of language learning. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching English to Norwegian junior high school students, so I have extensive experience in teaching non-native speakers. Prior to that, I worked in publishing for over 20 years, both in Canada (my homeland) and Norway. Much of that work involved editing English texts for correctness, clarity, and consistency. I am a calm, patient, and supportive teacher. I have the experience and knowledge to help you learn to speak English correctly and confidently.
The easiest way to learn English in Oslo (or indeed any language anywhere) is to speak it regularly -- and to not be afraid of making mistakes, which is a natural part of language learning.
That depends on the learner's starting point and motivation, but in general, English can be learned quickly in Oslo. Most people here are proficient in English, and they often like to speak English in order to keep it from getting rusty.
