About me:
My name is Eleanor. I am from Singapore, but have lived, studied/worked in the US, UK and Spain. English is my first language. I also speak and understand some Mandarin, Cantonese and a little Spanish. I enjoy living well and learning more about the world, food and nature.
My approach and experience:
I teach from my own experience, using knowledge I have from different parts of my life. I have taught children in the past two years and I enjoy working with them on Reading, Speaking, Listening, Writing, as well as vocabulary and grammar. I have also worked with adults in general/basic English. This is fun because we talk about different things you are interested in, or things that are helpful to your life and work.
Learning a new language, like Spanish for me, can be quite... hard, tiring and scary. Having relaxing conversations will allow you to practise your use of the language, while I look out for key learning points that will make you a better English speaker. Patience, practice and exposure is what I desire from a teacher and what I will offer you. However, first, I will need to get to know you a little more!
Qualification:
I graduated with a degree in International Business, a Tourism Diploma and am enthusiastic to meet you. To help you better, I have completed my training to be a TESOL certified teacher.

It really depends on your personality and learning goals. For example: Why are you learning English? How quickly do you want to learn English? What kind of learner are you? My favourite way of learning a language... would be to find something you can be consistent with and use it. I always remember that language is a living thing and it's basically used for communication.
