Learning English can be daunting at first, but by using fun and interactive methods that help teach you the English you need for day-to-day communication, we can sort this scary task out from the get-go. Having tutored children from the start of 2019 I have experience with many different characters, learning types, and personalities. Using this I create a unique learning plan that suits the needs of my particular student so that they can learn at their best and at their pace. When learning a new skill, time and effort is necessary, but who said that the effort and the time need to be draining? Using reading pieces, articles, songs, and the news to engage with my student time will fly by and your English will be above and beyond your expectations in no time. I am bubbly and eager, excited about helping others learn, and passionate about the English language, which helps since I am studying English Literature at the University of Glasgow. I love engaged and curious students and helping them through challenges and personal roadblocks is what makes tutoring so fascinating. So, if you want to learn English and have fun while doing it… I’m your gal.
The easiest way to learn English in Glasgow is to have one on one sessions, in person if possible, but online will suffice. Using extra material that is specifically curated for you will help with interest and enthusiasm for the subject. It is easiest when you have conversations in English with the help of a native. And of course practice, practice, practice.
I would not say it is difficult as English is the official language of Scotland and thus Glasgow. Finding people to talk to and practice with isn't difficult. The accent which differs from that which is heard on TV can cause a bump or two, but after getting the hang of it, it is smooth sailing.
