Hello! I am Anna, an English teacher from Edinburgh, Scotland.
I am 25 years old and currently live in Florence, where I am researching sixteenth-century Italian art. I am also a classically trained singer and train frequently.
I have two degrees in Art History. I gained my undergraduate from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and my master's degree from the University of Groningen, Netherlands. After my master's degree, I lived in London for nearly two years, working in the commercial art sector in galleries and auction houses. I have, therefore, lived and worked in a variety of places, thus leading to my passion for traveling and my ever-growing curiosity for different cultural practices. It has also helped me develop an appreciation for the importance of languages, which has not only prompted me to become a language student but also become a language tutor to those wanting to learn the English language.
I look forward to hearing from you!
The English language is a beautiful and complex language that can take time to master. It really depends how much you want to learn - if you want to learn the basics then it can take a short while but if you want to be able to recite Shakespeare, it may take a little while longer!
Florence is a fantastic city where learning English can be fun and rewarding - there are English speakers in every corner of the city, therefore making it easy to meet English-speaking individuals with whom you can practise your English.
